The hunt experience
From preparation to trophy care — here’s what to expect along the way.
What to Expect
The more prepared you are, the better your hunt will be.
Hunters can expect a moderate to difficult hunt. Each hunt can be tailored to the client’s ability, but strong physical and mental preparation will improve both success rates and trophy quality.
Montana’s weather is unpredictable, so clients should be prepared for extreme and changing weather conditions.

Trophy care
After a successful hunt, the guide/outfitter will prep your trophy hide or head. This can include packing for travel home or transport to nearby taxidermist.
Meat Processing
We have a walk-in cooler and meat cutting room available for those who would like to butcher their own meat. We also recommend Hamilton Packing Company in Hamilton, MT for client-harvested animals. They are a full-service, custom cut meat shop that our clients have been very happy with. We will deliver the animal to the butcher. The client is responsible for costs and pick-up of their meat.
